The biggest misunderstanding of friendship

The kite runner is the first book that I read written in English. During read this book, its scenes always impresses me so much. Such as Hassan always say “for you, a thousand times over”, however, when terrible thing happen to Hassan, Amir was to weak and chose to keep quiet and escape. Such a tragic result is not just because of their personality were different; these kids have already been taught through their inner mind the ‘necessaries’ and ‘non-necessaries’ of their own social status.A Hazara servant has to be completely loyal to his master, whereas a noble Pashto agha should never risk himself for a cheap Hazara servant.
Back to the real world, when they were young, they enjoyed the time spent with each other; those childish conversations, easily made but faithful swears and unforgettable funs shared. However, when facing the cruel realities and challenges, the bridge of friendship could easily collapse as soon as one side gives up.
Therefore, let’s look into the novel, when Amir saw those bad guys bulling and even sexually abusing his ‘best friend’ Hassan, he chose to escape. Meanwhile, for protecting Amir’s kite, Hassan bravely faces Assef, when Assef tells that the relationship between Amir and Hassan is just master and servant, Hassan argues that Amir is his friend. However, it is the truth that their fates are differentiated by those social tags they may never understand, society will force them to accept the positions assigned to them, and they must put on the masks given by society.
Hiding in a corner, timid Amir is not touched or encouraged by Hassan’s words.
This is the biggest misunderstanding of friendship.

literary analysis of the kite runner

The kite runner is a book written by Khaled Hosseini and set in kabul, afghanistan. At the beginning of the book, it is mainly telling about the sad story of the main character, Amir, and how he betrayed his best friend, hassan, when he was still a child. Later in the story it is telling on how the main character is haunted by this betrayal even after many years and how he is looking for a way to "be good again" or attone for his sin. The book is also showing the comparison of modern day afghanistan which is plagued by wars and the old afghanistan during the main characters childhood years which was a peaceful and had prospered.

When i first started to read this book, i thouhg it was going to be boring but once i passed the first few chapters, i became "hooked" to the book. This is because the book has a lot of twists, which make it intresting and the themes, such as friendship, that are disscused in it are very important to our lives. This is the reason why i would definately recommend this book to others.

'The Kite Runner' Review

The Kite Runner is a story about a family from Afghanistan. About a father and his son, Amir, and about Amir and his friend, Hassan. Like other boys from Kabul, Amir and Hassan love to play kites. Amir is a sensible boy, and his dream is to be a writer. Hassan is the son of a servant to Amir’s father and he has a big heart. He also tries to do everything to his friend Amir.

Amir realize his dreams and became a writer, however Hassan dealt with a lot of abuse from society. Amir betrayed Hassan whom he was connected with by blood unknown by both of them. Amir left Afghanistan for America and started a family. He felt deeply guilty about abandon Hassan. Amir return to Afghanistan to help Hassans son Sohrab, who was really sick. This book talks about the disturbing true of a hero who is truly not hero. From his book we can see a very talented writer who brings together the differences between two worlds.

The book review of the Kite Runner

This novel mainly tells the story of two children living in the 1970s’ Afghanistan. One is the much more fortunate Amir and another is a Hazard boy called Hassan whose life experience is a tragedy. What’s more, the continuous wars and civil turmoil even worsen the life of Hassan and finally he is struck by a bullet by the Taliban with his beloved wife, only leaving a young boy who becomes an orphan and is abused by the Taliban. However, the loyalty Hassan lasts from the beginning, they are young children when Hassan runs the kites for Amir but not cares about his potential harm done by Assef to the end when Hassan shot by the provocative Taliban during the time that Hassan takes care of Amir’s home when Amir escapes to America, avoiding the harm from the chaos by wars. On the other hand, what Amir does pay back is to tease Hassan when they are young and even wants to drive him away because of envy. Nevertheless, one day, when adult Amir who has already married and happily been leading a happy life in America received a determinant call from Rahim Khan who is not only the business partner of Baba but also a father-like man to Amir and it changes Amir’s life completely. The growth experience during those years, the education of Baba and his kind wife all contribute a new and much mature Amir at last so he makes the decision to follow the wish and suggestion by Rahim Khan and makes up for his faults to some degree, although time passes, nothing can come back, especially for the dead. The complex massive relationships between Amir and Hassan indicate that the loyalty is much more deserved to value.

As a result, I strongly recommend this book to everyone. The theme of the loyalty and chasing for the kindness will absolutely make you deeply moved. The literary strategy is really wonderful because not only does it reflect the theme from beginning to the end but also it does deepen and sublimate the theme. As far as I am concerned, the kite is the symbol of kindness and loyalty so running after it is the way to chase for the nice personality. Besides, another unique feature of this novel is the use of several words of Pashto. It plays a good role in indicating the setting of the story, although it may be confused to read, especially at the beginning. In all, I evaluate it a wonderful work so it deserves everyone to read it.

Review

The kite runner contains a fluctuated plot by the development of relationship between Amir and Hassan. Amir and Hassan are childhood playmates. They grew up together and run the kite together. Hassan shows his absolute loyalty to Amir thousand of time. In return, Amir is struggling with his sin that he betrayed Hassan and his loyalty. After Hassan’s leave, Amir came to America and got his marriage and respect within decades. In contribute of Rahim Khan , a father like friend, Amir and Hassan met up finally. Later on, Hassan died for his loyalty, and in the meantime, the truth of relationship between Amir and Hassan has been exposed. In order to atonement, Amir went all the way down to Afghanistan to find his nephew Sohrab, Hassan’s only son. However, to open a child’s heart is not easy. Amir has been tested as same as when Hassan was been tested. The kite is the key to open this door.

I like this novel very much. It brings me a new sight to Afghanistan. And I learn a lot of justification and the truth in like from Amir and Hassan. In addition, I enjoy fluctuated plots and character descriptions in the book.

review of Kite Runner

This story,Kite Runner, is written by Khaled Hoseini about that a man whose name is Amir tried to make up for what he did to his friends, Hassan. This story is located in mainly Afghanistan and this includes the issue of war, religion discrimination by the religious differences. Amir and Hassan are best friends like brother and they always played together. However, one day Amir did something seriously bad to betray Hassan and Amir spend his life for regretting it. Then, he became an adult and he got an opportunity to make up for it. In this story, a competition of kites named Kite Runner is a key thing. The event changed the relationship between Amir and Hassan dramatically when they were young and even after they became adults.
This is a great book because there are a lot of techniques used in order to attract readers. First, he uses foreshadowing from beginning. In addition, by using different language, he succeeds to attract readers attention toward key words. In the content, this story reminded me of my childhood and of how important my friends are. After I read it, the emotion lingered on my heart. Therefore this book is very good.

Literary analysis essay

This is a book about friendship and families. The main character is Amir, a child who came from a rich family of Afghanistan. Another main character is Hassan, the servant of Amir. Amir and Hassan were just like brothers. They played together, talked with each other and so on. On Amir's mind, Hassan was not only his servant, but also his best friend. For Hassan, Amir was not only his friend, but also his master. However, during a kite race, a dire thing happened. Amir was ashamed of himself for his coward. After that, he forced to leave Hassan and then rushed to America.
Several years had pasted and Amir had become an adult with a happiness family. However, he still couldn't forgive himself for betray to Hassan. After he received a call from Afghanistan, he decided to return to Afghanistan and atone for his betray. In Afghanistan,he knew another thing that was shocked him deeply. Then he decided to atone to Hassan in a specific way.
I think this book is really a good book and I really would like everyone to read this book. In this book, you can deeply feel the author's feelings about his father, his friend and his life. And then, after finishing reading this book, the author will apply you a space to think about friendship, life and so on. In this book, you can read a lot of descriptions about the environment and feelings and some of them are really vivid. However, this book has so many difficult words that it is hard for me to read it without a dictionary, even in some parts, I really can hardly understand its meaning.
I really loved this book since it told me how to treat my friends and how to communicate with your friends. The most essential part is what is the true friendship.
