The number of smoker in the world already grew up to a big number, it means that cigarette is very popular today. But it is also not welcomed by much people although the cigarette is not a kind of drug. There are many reasons to smokers or others to like it or hate it. But it is obviously that cigarette is not a kind of healthy staff. So some people think that the cigarette smoking should be banned. But to smokers they do not agree with it.
Supporting one side: Smoking should not be banned. Ban cigarette smoking is not a right behavior. For some reasons like, it is not fair for smoker, or nobody have the right to disturb other’s freedom.
It is too long thesis statement. You should short it to 1-2 sentences. The thesis statement is just the main point of your essay and let the reader know what you will discuss in your passage.

ReplyDeleteYour topic is good and bebateble. You don't need put so many sentenses in it. You can put a question firstly, then answer it.
ReplyDeleteFan, the last part is a good start on the thesis statement (The part after Supporting One Side:). The rest is not necessary for a thesis statement. Also, you should try to combine these sentences into 2 more complex sentences.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it is well known that Cigarette smoking have many bad effection on many sides. To ban smoking is not fair for the people who smokes. It's their right to choose smoke, but no body should have the right to avoid them.
