Should parents let teens make decisions by themselves?
Of course, teens have already a sense of basic judgment, they can make decision by themselves depends on what they need, parental involvement are not good for teens’ independence, so parents should let teens make decision by themselves,giving them more freedom to chose what they need.

The question is well stated however your thesis should be more assertive. I think the best way you would put the thesis in one statement is by beginning: Because most teens have a need for independence, parents should allow teens to make their own decisions.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thesis statement.But I think teens can not make decisions on some big even, they don't have many experience. May be you can make it more specific.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both Teejay & Xiaoyang. You have a good start on a thesis statement, but you need to make it more concise. Try to take out some unnecessary clauses and shorten it a bit. Then it will be more powerful.
