For Assef, he used to bully Amir and Hassan. He attended the Talib. He did so much sin. At last, he got blind. That's he should get. He got a bad result from he did in the past.

Good response, Rui. However, be careful with using "recreance." It is a difficult word to use, and I don't think it makes sense to describe his character.
