I totally agree with Amir, his words were so justified. Amir wanted the boy and then he took Sohrab. He was responsible for his sin by being punched. He was laughing even it hurts because Amir thought he deserved it. One-eyed Assef has been hurt by the same situation, a Hazard tried to protect Amir. And these two Hazards were father and son. This was the result for Assef whom was hurting the most important person for nonresistance Hazards. Now Assef is blind because he own it.
